It is at this point I came across what in England we would call a "jobs worth" which means somebody who has to make the job look bigger than it is to justify their existence. The local electric company are a law unto themselves we went in to the office and had to watch and wait for the person we needed sit and drink coffee with his friend for 25 minutes and then become very rude because he had to do some work. It is at this point I wish my Polish was better as I think a few words would have been used.
